Please allow me to "yell it from the mountain tops" about your super product!
For the longest time I have been searching for something to replace the transmission fluid in my Honda. Upon reading the article in Family Handyman magazine about the Liquivac extraction system, how could I lose? Taking the magazine to the local hardware store I ordered the pump.
After being a bit skeptical about how to use the pump and how to measure the fluid I was extracting I inserted the evacuation tube into the service port of the transmission and pumped up the vacuum.
After about 15 pumps and releasing the clip on the tube, I was very happy to watch about 100,000 miles of transmission fluid flowing into the reservoir. According to magazine clipping I should just remove about a quart a week to give it a break-in period to mix with the rest of the fluid and week by week remove the rest of it until I find a stream of clear, red fluid.
I was also greatly relieved that now I didn’t have to be without the car while it was at the repair shop plus put out over $200.00 for parts and labor for something I had completed in less than 10 minutes right in front of my own home!
